The truly odd part of the bug zapper theory is that many of the same people who promulgate it, also like to say how humanitarian we were to go to Iraq. Now as I see it, you can't turn a country in to a bug zapper (where lots of innocent Iraqis are also getting zapped out of existence at the same time) AND claim to be doing the Iraqis a favor by turning them in to bug zapper central.

That said, I don't even think the place works as a bug zapper, but even if it DID, we don't have the right to turn another country into our bug zapper- that just isn't right under any code of ethics. It's like taking over a country so you can drown the people in your country's sewage. That would be a pretty difficult thing to justify as well- though no doubt some people would try.
