They are definitely looking for another reliever to complement Foulk...probably a lefty. We have two young pitchers who look great Papelbaum and another guy (forgot his name).

A Damon or Ramirez trade (or both) gives the team a huge amount of leverage for some great players plus it will provide a lot of room under the salary cap. Schilling has one more year with Clement and Arroya with +2 years on their contracts. Not sure where we are on Wells. Ortiz will be here for a while too.

The Hot Stove Season is beginning early this year. The team leadership is an interesting combination of John Henry (big risk manager from hedge funds) Larry Lucchino (great baseball operations guy) and Epstein (great baseball strategist). I think will be fine. These guys know precisely what they want and will balance timing and risk.
