Exxon and Halliburton have many offshore accounts. Halliburton was said to have 27 of them in the Cayman islands alone.

It's still worth getting the numbers out in the open, even if someone needs to explain 'em... I'd do the research myself, but I'm leaving town in 15 minutes. Maybe I'll look it up when I get to my destination.

What numbers are you looking for?

HAL made $2.30 per share or 1.9 billion dollars in profit in the last year. Sales were only up 4% but net PM [profit margin] increased from 1.6% to 6%.....a huge jump thanks to Iraq. Profitwise, HAL had its best year in 20.

XOM made a whopping $4.60 per share or $29 billion. Its best year in at least ten. To put this in the proper perspective, the highly successful INTC made $1.31 per share or $7.8 billion dollars. And I should add INTC is a much more efficient profit maker than XOM.

XOM sales were up 25% and its net PM increased from 7% to 9%... a significant jump but not as big as HAL's.

Are these the numbers you were looking for?
