The real problem is there's so much profit and price-gouging in American health care these days, backed by lobbyists funneling $$$ to bought and paid for politicians. Now you can support the capitalist system and that's fine, but other countries take the profit out of it and offer much better prices for equal service. It's the HMO's and drug companies putting out the propaganda that Canada and Sweden have poor systems. They know damn well that's not true. I'm sure MRI's are given on a need basis in Sweden.
