Yeah, but most of it was because of financing (GMAC), as far as I've heard. Interest rates go up, they're sunk. They're losing money on every car.


My point was that I don't think money nor paying the unions is the reason for their poorly designed cars that require more maintenance than other brands. Quality and good design don't go up when they make lots of money. It seems there is a corporate culture run by rich, white guys that is responsible and not the poor black guys in the unions.
