I heard last week.... there were 200,000 deaths from chronic use of non steroidal medications....

100,000 of those are silent deaths where people have systemic system failure and they don't quite know why these people died....

This is new stuff....

Merck (the stock) is testing a 5 year low and i bet it takes it out...

So it's BS that Canada's health care system is worse than ours. Those stats prove it. And guess what, they don't pay through the nose to keep drug company and HMO profits at a high level. We do.

There are a lot of myths we are fed growing up. I am finding that the common motivation behind most of these myths is to insure we see nothing worthy in the concept of socialism.

For an example, until recently, I firmly believed that the rags to riches story was fairly commonplace in America. Wrong! If you want to be rich in this country, you need to be born rich.

Also, all those rich doctors we're making richer. Used to be that a doctor was a profession where you served the community. Now it's a license to print money.

Sorry but I have to disagree here.........doctors are no longer getting rich. They still have a nice lifestyle but the costs of doing business have skyrocketed in the past ten years, particularly when it comes to insurance.
