What is there to like about the company? Their Canada franchises filed bk, their California franchises are suing them, and who knows if the rest of them are making any money.

Why is it worth several hundred million dollars?

We don't know how much debt KKD has.

The Philadelphia Krispy Kreme franchisee filed for bankruptcy this morning. KKD is the majority owner of this franchisee, though I don't think their debt was consolidated on KKD's balance sheet. KKD is going to fund the Philly franchise during the restructuring.

KKD hasn't filed financial statements for about a year now. It's a roll of the dice whether or not the stock is a buy.
