Can't give you a good answer here, but my ex's 2nd husband could easily have afforded to go anywhere for his operation. Same hospital in CPH having a good reputation in this area, however, why should he pick a different place? The fact is, just like your quality BMW might still be a lemon, the best surgeon may have a bum day and if you are under his knife that day, you may never see the daylight again. In the former DDR (East Germany) the common man with "no special value to the system" was sent home with a glass of aspirin (free, state pays) in stead of having a lung cancer operation. DDR, a former socialistic paradise on Earth. Taro
