True, the name socialist is in his party's name, but that's a misnomer. When a socialist or anyhone else becomes a dictator then he's either a fascist or a communist. And fascism and communism are not that different. Go too far to the right and you end up at the far left, and vice versa. Only the names are different.

Dictatorships in general are evil. Socialism is not at all evil. In fact most developed countries are socialist and most are doing just fine. A country like Canada for instance has very few serious problems compared to some of ours.

I prefer a mixture of capitalism and socialism, and always strong regulation and enforcement against corporate and government corruption. The biggest crime problem in dollar terms is not street crime but white collar crime including energy gouging.
