if you could trust corporations they might be better but we often can't trust them.

Exactly, You generally can't vote a corporation's leadership out of power when they screw up (Unless you own the company). You have a chance when the leadership has to come up for election now and again.

Quit comparing socialism to communism. They're very different.

Are they? Maybe in theory and maybe initially if not checked.

There is a huge difference. Every single country in the world is more or less socialist. The US is about 35% socialist, I'd say. 40% tops. European countries are about 55%. All socialism means is that the government runs the big programs vs. corporations and privatization.

Damn it, do your homework! You have only part of the info correct and so you play right into the cracker's BS.

The National Socialist Party started out as a socialist party but after Hitler gained control, he purged the socialists. It then became socialist in name only. Americans don't understand this nuance and have perpetrated the notion that Nazism is a form of socialism. It is not. Nazism in fact has its roots in far right conservatism. Ideologically, Hitler was on the right, not the left.

Don't give that cracker false information........it leads him to think he actually has a brain when he does not.
