Has the supposedly liberal-minded American media made much of this? Or just a wee-lil' bit of it?

I've had a very nice spell away from computer time--and gradually working my way back as warm New England weather disappears.

Meanwhile, has anyone yet read the whole of the transcript of the Downey Street Memo?

As noted above, Jude Wanniski, a former Reagan advisor, supply-sider, Iraq-War opposer, etc. published same, w/commentary.

Sadly and recently, the contrarian Mr. Wanniski passed away.

In mine--and others'--viewpoint, Wanniski was one of the world's interesting thinkers--and one who held a compelling, indeed obvious, need and want to double-check the Bush presidency.

And, hey, how 'bout this--regarding the Iraq War--among other things--more and more Republicans are coming to the viewpoint Wanniski discovered long ago: The US War on Iraq has always been wrong!

Again, I've not been on the boards since early last spring--so I wonder: Have any GOPwingers changed their tune), or considering same?

Amusingly, curiously--but sensitively--all yours,
