I was paraphrasing Steve Saville.

I any event does not look like an October peak this year.

My guess is a November low well under current levels.

The Dow peaked at about 1050 in Jan 1973.It then slowly declined with a series of small rallies until Aug.It then had a big rally in Sept-Oct and the story was that the bull market was back.It formed a small top and then dropped 200 points in about 6 weeks.

I remember all this because I was short Gm back then.<g>
