Huh? That's what I don't understand. I know the rule but I thought if the ump calls it out, its out. How could the player decide what the call was to be? Didn't the replay show the catcher getting the ball before it hit the dirt? It doesn't make sense.

The ump said he didn't really call it out... he said his sign was not an "out" sign, just a "third strike" sign. It's BS. And the replay doesn't matter in baseball.


Yeah, I know but you would have thought there would have been a serious objection by the Angels......not that I am disappointed with the Sox winning the series.

When he left he was crying, but I bet Freddie Garcia is real happy now that he got traded to the White Sox from the Mariners. As for the Angels, I can't believe they changed their name to the LA Angels. That's chickensh*t! They are in Anaheim. Deal with it.
