I gave you chances to prove you weren't lying, but you wouldn't take them. Liar is simply an apt adjective for you. Quod erat demonstradum, Michael. Thanks for demonstranduming it for us that you lie. If it's name calling to call a proved liar a liar, that's a whale of a lot better than being the liar, at least in my book.

It sucks to be caught. Good try with "the best offense is a good defense"- but it's not really convincing. If you can prove your statement about ALL those people who said positive things about Saddam I'll be happy to withdraw my remark and apolgize- because I wouldn't want to be a liar...

I think I will keep reminding you about proving that, because really Michael, you DO need to either prove what you said, or take it back. Don't you think it would be good for you? Cleansing. Purifying. (because lies are pig vomit, imo)

I am very sorry for calling you a liar. I have been reminded that many people (I made this up for effect, and fun- see how easy it is to say something like that?) read my posts and look to me for moral guidance, and I set a bad example for them by calling you a name. Deepest apologies.

I will concentrate on the lie, and not on he who told it.

So, please post to me any post expressing the idea that Saddam was a good governor of his country. I haven't seen one, but you claim to have seen many. Could you possibly allow us a peek at just one? If not, perhaps we could discuss the the veracity of the idea that many people on SI think Saddam governed well? Do you think, perhaps, that you made that up in order to discredit people whose ideas you might not agree with(I'm just guessing- not trying to read your mind, just trying to think of some explanation- not saying it's the correct one)? Because it looks like that- but I'm really interested in the posts, if you have any, showing support, of any kind, for Saddam. I confess I don't think I've ever seen a positive post about him, from anyone (which is kind of odd, really, when you think of how many POV's are represented on SI.)
