DOuble take.
I was going to catch up reading backwards and the first two posts I read were--
"Someone has to stick up for the poor, defenseless lawyers", and then -
"Stack em to form a protective wall around the city, cement over them, some spackle, a little paint...."
And of course, seeing your name, I didn't question the logic at all.
:)

As long as we're adding helpful suggestions, I propose we declare NO a national landfill site, open to all states and maybe a few foreign countries.

In fifteen years, the landfill should be 10 feet ABOVE sea level, at no cost to taxpayers.

Cover it with dirt and let the rebuilding begin, and to heck with all those levees.

Not a bad idea at all.

Might also be useful as a base for wetlands restoration.
