I think the flu is being hyped as a way to scare the public since the war on terror isn't scaring them anymore. I disagree. The war on terror was a figment of Bush's imagination......probably from eating too many Fritos. Unfortunately, the avian flu is very real. I think people have been so blasé that medical experts are raising the ante to get their attention. I don't think it will cause as many deaths as they are predicting but I think many people will die if human transmission becomes a reality. ted
