How true! The only "yellow elephants" signing up for the Iraq disaster are the ones acting as "security contractors" raking in huge bucks for protecting foreign corporations in Iraq - in other words, war profiteers. Why doesn't the chimp go on TV and ask his young followers to sign up? In the Spanish civil war, true believers from both sides signed up by the 1000's for nothing! Just glory, adventure and being on the right side of history. Repugnicans must be PAID..

Conservative campus groups like YAF and College Republicans are growing in strength and numbers. And since the start of the Iraq War, these outfits have stood shoulder-to-shoulder with Bush to support the war, but they have not stood alongside the soldiers doing the actual fighting and dying. They want someone else to do the hard work. They are infuriating. This whole movement from the right is 1984 redux. Like the Ministry of Truth from the book, they use double speak.....using names like Young Americans for Freedom. It suggests goodness, strength and purity like Hitler's Youth and yet they are just more pigs in the making.....actually pigs in waiting. Waiting for their uncles and fathers and mothers and aunts to give up their positions in Congress so they can take over. Everyone of them should be made to fight in Iraq along with the Bush twins no matter what their position on the war is. ted
