JQP has a good point in that many of the people who got sick and died were poultry workers/ chicken farmers. Unlike the cases of the people who visited the zoo. Specualting: Could be that people who work with DUCKS may have more previous exposure to earlier, less dangerous forms of the virus. ****** People who work in wool factories usually develop some immunity to anthrax - or they get sick from anthrax and then work somewhere else. I don't know it that tells us much about the danger of anthrax.
