In Iraq, no vehicles allowed and a 61% voter turnout...

In the US, they get busses and give out free cigarettes and cannot even get a majority to the polls....

I'd say Iraq's constitution efforts are a success.

Even more of a success if you learn about our efforts at our constitution which led to the Bill of Rights.

You didn't answer my question.. I thought I did. Maybe it was to another poster. I was very encouraged by the previous election. They set up a slate of representatives to hammer out a constitution. Yesterdays vote suggests that the constitution they hammered was a start that could be used, and revised, based on the new parliamentary election in December. What is the beef?
