Fair enough, the oil profits aren't paying for the invasion, but that is partly because the US chose correctly to not use the oil revenue to pay for its costs. Yes, US taxpayeers are being saddled with the cost. I am helping to pay for a war I did not want; a war that has done nothing to reduce the level of terrorism in the world; a war that, in fact, has increased terrorism in the world; a war that is killing and maiming thousands of Americans; a war that is promoting civil war in Iraq. Dude, I promise you that I am not happy and am doing everything I can to get the bushies out of power.
