Wolfowitz predicted the invasion would pay for itself! How long are you going to drink the koolaide? As I said before, we decided not to seize Iraqi oil revenues to pay our expenses. 3 million barrels a day x 356 days a year x $65 a barrel could generate roughly $65 billion a year. Take out a few loans on that cash flow and you could "finance the invasion" with it. Fortunately, the administration decided it would look bad to ask for a penny of it and has been paying for it ever since. Are you suggesting that the US should have impounded the oil revenues or what?
