That figure was discredited when details of the survey were released.
89 respondents to that survey were black. That yields a range of 2.2% to 12.7%, when the margin of error is included with 95% confidence. Other surveys taken at the same time with better statistical accuracy, like the Pew, put black support of Bush at 12%.
