Actually, I already anticipated this "nuance" you would draw. As long as you personally agree with the war, it's OK to send others to fight for you. Only those who support wars you don't agree with should be called "chickenhawks."

But Tench, everyone knows we are liberal pacifist extremists...what about my original question? The college chickenhawks still don't volunteer for either war, despite their vocal "support" for both.

No need to tell me how bad it is in Iraq, or how our current leadership is stumbling. You had your chance in 2004, and you blew it.

Blew it? Because the Dems couldn't fight as dirty as the GOP. Ten years ago, that would have been called taking the high road. How times have changed under Bush/Rove!
