Why paddle a canoe in ankle-deep water?

They showed that on the Daily Show.

The camera crew setup on dry ground. There was actually a whole line of local reporters who took turns in the canoe. It was one way to get a stable shot as opposed to taking the cameras in the canoe.

Hey Steve, did you catch this? Why paddle a canoe in ankle-deep water?

newsbusters.org

No wonder the media is up-n-arms over Bush's alleged "staged interview" with the soldiers. Only they are allowed to "create" the news ...

While the bimbo reporter hardly needed the canoe, it seems the author of the article is prone to a bit of hyperbole himself. First, he describes the two men as "wading" and then says the water was "barely above their shoe tops". Well, let me just point out the descrepancy in that description ......you don't wade when the water is barely above your shoe tops. You wade when the water is at least ankle deep or more. Later on, there is a photo that confirms that the water was well above their shoe tops.

Damn, even when the right has it sewn up, they still have to lie.

And then there is the allegation that the troops talking to Bush were not coached. I saw the video clip on the news. They were coached. I can't believe how the right lies and lies and lies.
