We had big oil windfall profits taxes during the Carter days. Time to re-introduce them. The Texas thieves have been high on the hog for far too long. Time for them to return some of their ill-gotten loot. If you want to defend gougers and corporate crooks, be my guest, but this is actually the #1 reason why people are angry at Bush now, not Iraq or Rovegate or even Katrina, it's the gas prices and the knowledge Bush-Cheney are part of that oil cartel which runs everything and manipulates prices.
