How can a democracy be functional if the elections can not be trusted? At this point does it really matter all that much? Socially, yes, but economically and militarily there is very little difference between the two major parties in America. What we need is a Parlimentary system that allows smaller parties into the political process. Perhaps expanding the House of Representatives beyond 435 members would be a good place to start. How about a 1,000 memember House!
