Perhaps... but it's been a 'well known secret' for many years that many 'establishment Republicans' would prefer to keep the Roe ruling around as a way to reliably motivate the small town, religious conservative base in the Party, while the so-called 'Wall Street Conservatives' have many other issues they are concerned about... but Roe isn't one of them.

However, without the shiboleth of Roe around to beat the social conservatives around the head and shoulders with every election cycle... the Wall Streeters would not have such a firm hold on power, would not be so electable.

And, certainly, any comprehensive BANS on abortion (with the associated spike in illegal procedures, septis deaths, prosecution of physicians who conduct illegal procedures, possibly removal of several different contraceptive technologies from the legal marketplace, increase in out-of-wedlock and teenage births, etc.) would be HIGHLY LIKELY to motivate a counter-rebellion... and likely to motivate it's partisans to turn out in ever larger numbers at the polls.

This is the political calculus that the Party elders are aware of.
