No Cummings, what is amazing is that some would say those things now when we know how flimsy all of those rationales were, even when they were popular. Other's would say that continuing to use such rationales when we know so much more about the real facts is insane.

Not me, I don't view that as either amazing or insane; I view that as stupidly and stubbornly sending men to die without justification. And I call that shameful. Ed
