That's actually a pretty good rumor (I've heard it before... that Cheney would use a 'health' excuse to step aside).

I highly doubt it... but it could potentially totally revitalize the second Bush II term. The public would likely give the admin more leeway on some policies it wants to pursue... and it could allow the the 'strings' to the Iraq 'tar baby' to be cut.
