Bush was probably out riding his bike while they were conspiring. I think Al has a very good point, that's getting lost in the details. If this thing ends up in indictments for whoever, then the most important part will still really be why these guys were going through these machinations... they were lying to the American people about the reason for a war and they didn't want the truth to come out. That may be obvious to you and I, but I guarantee it's not obvious to most people. That's the headline... "Cheney, Rove et al indicted for covering up their lies about the reasons we went to war". That's the fire that cooks the goose. I think we all are the same page. Its what I meant when I said they will be indicted on a conspiracy to lie and manipulate the American public into war. ted
