Wow. This was a long time coming: biz.yahoo.com I remember seeing a demo of Jini at a shareholder meeting many moons ago. I always wondered why it didn't get more of a push, because it seemed like it could be really useful. Maybe it was just ahead of its time. Or perhaps Quantum (who, as I recall, was one of the early supporters) being bought out had something to do with it. Or (to preempt Qwik's inevitable negative spin) perhaps it's just another case of Sun dropping the ball. All JMHO. Charles Tutt (SM)
