Second, I believe you are highly mistaken re. the USAF monitoring of US airspace. We've had small planes crash on the White House lawn before (before 911 that is). "Like Saadam Hussain was the best buddy of the USA government (raging war on Iran for example) until he fell out of favor for some dumb reason of his own making. The USA MADE Saddam Hussain by all accounts. " No, he was never a good friend of the US and was armed by the USSR, China, and France. They're the ones who made him a great power. The most the US did was tilt toward him against Iran when Iran seemed in danger of prevailing over Iraq.
