last year's yahoo numbers had a 129 million$ google stock sale in there. When you net out the stock sale (and another smaller one that happened this quarter)- yahoo had a 110mm increase in core earnings year over year.

Now, you can say that the "onetime" effect of the google stock sale shouldn't matter... flat is flat... but the problem with that is that when yahoo did those numbers *last year*, the street proforma'd out the one time gain.

Bottom line- yahoo's core revenues are up 47% over last year and earnings are $110mm higher than last year. ANd the stock is flat.

Bear market.
