Black leaders are not eunochs in the Democratic party. They have real clout. Becausae they have votes and money. I did a fundraiser for Kerry at the home of a rich black business leader. You would be surprised how many black multi-millionaires showed up, many of them very famous. However, blacks are definitely promoted way above their pay grade for show in the GOP, a few token blacks at least. Rice is the shining example. She had no business being security advisor. She knew nothing about terrorism.
