Nope. Long term is the only way to go. But long term investing doesn't mean you turn your brain off. If you find a stock that didn't meet your expectations or didn't do what you think it would, like Cisco, then you dump it. I thought Cisco would curtail stock options. They did not. That changes my long term outlook on the stock. So I'm dumping it.

I don't know why short term traders always equate long term investing with idiocy.
