Ray, it's not my month, that's for sure. I'm glad that the article in Barrons about cutting technical analysts sparked some conversation while we wait for the market to turn. I think that there's something to TA. At the very least it captures trends, short term as well as long term. The trick is figuring out where the turning point is. I don't believe that technical analyses always leads fundamental analyses or visa versa. Which is the leading indicator depends on too many variables. Do the insiders have loose lips? How is the market/sector performing? Yabadabadaba, etc. , and so it goes.
