Yep. BigPharma wrote the Medicare Bill. BigOIl wrote the Energy Bill. BigBanking wrote the Bankruptcy Bill.

Republicans are so corrupt (along with some but not all Dems) that it would be better if Miers stepped down, Bush nominated a rightwing nutcase, the Dems filibustered, the Reps invoked the nuke option and the Dems finally shut down the Senate and the House joined in solidarity.

We can no longer afford to have Congress in session.
