I'll leave if I have to. My dog goes with me. So does my gun.

I just got back home this afternoon from Boston. Ft Lauderdale airport didn't seem to be that busy. No chaos with departing flights from my observation. More snowbirds actually seemed to be coming down for the season. Perhaps a lot less panic on the east coast. I do know if I was in the Keys or anywhere on the west coast it would be a lot different..

Good for you, leaving early, especially when forecasting path has fallen apart.

Being at your destination early means you won't be on the road, leaving it free for others.

And less frustration for you.
