Water temps are at least 6-7 degrees cooler in the gulf several hundred miles east of SW Florida and the Keys compared to the Caribbean. Looks like high 70's to me. Not enough juice to sustain a CAT 5 to Florida coast. My guess is it hits SW Fla or Keys as borderline CAT 3 tops..

My area has higher temps than normal now, dammit. I do figure that Wilma can't find my ass though.
