Those round ones look interesting too... as an alternative to peppers or tomatoes for stuffing... hmmm!

Our year was uncommonly hot from spring on and very dry.. our week away in early June was to Florida and the temps were the same back home in Toronto.. but at any rate zucchini getting water loved it I imagine... the blurb on the Sicilians seems to corroborate my experience... BTW they are thirsty plants like all zucchinis...
