TJ, "Ought to" and "is" are two very different things. Globalstar "ought" to have been a great success too. Unfortunately, those in charge were clueless and self-destructive in a detail which was crucial to success. Globalstar LP "is" bankrupt and my class action suit is underway with payout assured [albeit minor].

China "ought" to be a great success and rule the world. They "is" not.

China is not showing a lot of admiration for individual flair, creativity and self-determination.

The belief of Chinese is that Chinese are fungible mindless clones, all believing the same thing and one big happy tribe of ants. That's "Chinese" as defined by Yiwu the Mad and Bubba the Bigot. People like Brianh are not real Chinese.

One has to be very careful what one says in China and careful of what one thinks too. And very, very careful about what one does.
