Miers will vote against Roe, but without a conservative theory of constitutional interpretation, she will lay the groundwork for many more Roes. Coulter hits the nail on the head today.

At this point, I'm just hoping that Roberts turns out to be what we want and she follows his lead.

I think it more likely that Roberts turns out not to me what we want, and more likely that Meirs is what we want. All of this opining about needing a scholar to write scholarly opinions is BS. We just need someone to write an intelligent justification for their vote. A court cannot overturn the Supreme court no matter how stupid the judge thinks the Supreme's are. Such thinking is elitism. That is that somehow, because you could afford to go to an Ivy league school, or have been a judge, or lawyer, you are smarter and better than those who did not.
