The rumor isn't just about ECA selling the company (read the statement about selling our shares again).

It's also monetizing their oil sands acreage with a JV or selling them outright. No mention of that.

That sounds a lot like the same type of rhetoric we heard from Husky Oil in the late 70s just before Alberta Gas Trunk snatched it from underneath Petrocanada and Occidental Pete's noses
