As I've seen BIDU usually following GOOG , but not much trades in it A/H ...interesting to see if it pops into the $70's tomorrow Paul.

Its already up 2pts here to $68...

That's what I know too, that short interest is always 30 days behind, but just thought I'd check with minds smarter than mine!

My feelings too that these are institutional trades going on. When it comes to $300 stocks like GOOG and CME everyone (the press and regular folks) forgets the percentages and focus on the $ price move in the stock, which is totally misleading IMO. You are absolutely right that Yahoo! had a similar percentage move Tuesday, and Sandisk is up over 10%. On that basis GOOG should easily go up 30pts without attracting attention, but......!

I'm glad there's no announcement of a split. That should help the price movement even more in the future, and of course volatility for traders too!
