evacuation report: Orlando Ever the cautious Money Penny, I left Fort Myers this morning. If I had known what I do today, yesterday, I would have not left but my evacuation was unbelievably simple, indeed, it was the smoothest and quickest trip to Orlando in my experience. I am staying at the Royal Pacific, which is a lovely Loewes property that is currently inhabited by about 25% dogs and cats. That is why I chose this place. I guess I'm stuck here a little longer than planned but with two Emeril restaurants and Mandara spa, I will not be suffering too much. Neither will my little companions. They can have room service if they want. If only they knew how to dial. About 40% of the people here tonight are evacuees. Tomorrow another 900 arrive. I wish every one in harms way the best of luck.
