Que, you've laid out some very cogent points in this post....I would just like to bring over from the CWEI board a link which is decidedly contrary to your comments about warm winter weather forecasts: My attempted copy and paste of the link was unsuccessful...the post was #133018 by Mr WarpSpeed on the Yahoo CWEI message board, it dealt with Bastardi's and other forecasters' of a colder than normal winter. I'm still holding my large PTEN position...it's hurtin' like hell! But I take solace in the fact that virtually every knowledgeable poster here and on the CWEI board seems to be as perplexed as I am about the way this energy sector's prices are acting...and that the fundamentals will prevail in the long run. Are we right?...Hell, don't keep me lyin'...there's not a one of us that can give a sure answer to that question. Just suffice it to say that my concept of the odds lay with those who hold long through this winter...notwithstanding all the points you laid forth. IOW, I think our sense of "illogical rationale" will win out over the current display of absolute unsubstantiated irrationale that exists in this market today. Thanks for your posts, they hold solid food for thought. Buck
