Tero wouldn't have thought that QCOM would exceed NOK market capitalisation. Well, it has, again! Having first done so a year or so ago.

It always seems such a waste when people with talents pour them down the drain chasing more interesting, or financially rewarding, or fun, greener fields or something.

Tero isn't a magnetic/electronic/photonic geek so he'll never be more than a dabbler, albeit a highly successful one probably.

CDMA is a very big deal and with OFDM thrown in, it's a very, very big deal.

But some high quality neurobiological redesign of human brains would be a much bigger deal. He should have stayed in his field of expertise and invented CDNA™ in neurobiology.

CDNA™ will be a very, very big deal as women select "the right stuff" for their offspring.

Stephen Hawking was promoting genetic engineering of human brains so we would fall behind cyberspace, aka It, at a slower pace. He's a black-hole super-string geek so he can't do it. We need somebody who can twiddle with those neuron synapse thingamies and make them hook together in better ways, or at least knows how to unclip and clip the right bits together to make it go really well.

It can obviously be done because there are super-brain individuals already around. We just need some DNA plugged in in the right spot. Plus some improved nutrition etc.

If he was to start a QCOM equivalent, but with a CDNA™ brief for super-brain intelligence, memory, recall etc, he could create an umpty$billion enterprise.

Tell him to get a real job!
