rmm, I agree with your earlier post except for whether the U.S. consumer would boycott Chinese goods. They are getting better all of the time and are so pervasive that it's almost impossible to find a tool at your local hardware store that is U.S. made. And..it costs more. Peple vote their pocketbooks, IMHO. They won't boycott if it costs them more $. The big threat is actually the reverse; if China stops buying our U.S. bonds and bills, or threatens to do so, we are a house of cards financially. SG
