This is why I avoid puff balls. I know some can be dangerous. I have gone to a few annual Mycologist shows, but I haven't hooked up with anyone that could take me out and show me what to look for. I'd really love to do that. Just getting out in the woods and taking a walk is my idea of fun.

Mo, Thread, I am reminded of a correction/retraction I saw printed in a newspaper some years ago. It read, "The pictures and captions of the poisonous and edible mushrooms were reversed in last Sunday's Weekend section. We regret any inconvenience this may have caused."

Today, that newspaper probably would have a passel of lawyers crawling
