LOL.... what don't I get. If you know how a person thinks, you may or may not know how they will vote.

The only question is one of honesty. One trusts or one does not.
I cannot see any thinking in some of Souters decisions. But there are honest idiots.

And ultimately it's about thinking that results in votes that make sense.

Exactly. That is why we support Harriet Miers. President Bush thinks right on Constitutional issues. He is an excellent judge of character. He believes she thinks appropriately on Constitutional issues. He has had 25 years to reach that firm conviction. Therefore is is most probable that she is an excellent choice.

As always, consider that alternative. Another nasty protracted media battle because someone we could support is moderately conservative, or another liberal that betray President Bush's supporters.
